... A Thousand Lights ...

I guess you don't exactly expect to take photos like this in winter, because it feels more like the typical springtime picture... but my garden was like this just last week. The previous day it rained all day long and the next morning there was a timid sun coming through the clouds.

The light, colours, focus and bokeh in this photo are all 100% natural: no texture was applied and the raw shot only had the contrast slightly adjusted.
It may not look anything special from the thumb, but I think it's really worthwhile watching in full view.

Shot with a Canon PowerShot SX1 IS
Full View recommended, I hope you all like it!

Was this natural?

Yup, all of the bokeh light and out of focus areas are from the camera lens, no manipulation ^^

Very nice depth! That one blade sticking into the middle is distracting though. I would've pulled it out if I were taking the picture.

Thank you, I'm glad you like it! =D

You're probably right about that blade, but I was in such a complicated position to take this shot that I probably wouldn't have found that blade anymore on the other side of the lens.
And by the way the lawn has been reseeded only a couple of months ago, so Dad would kill me if I already ripped out his beloved grass

You're welcome! Haha, I know what you mean! I've done grass shots before. Pretty difficult sometimes!
