Cobras are awesome!

Cobras and Pythons are my favourite types of snakes. It's just sad that 96% of people in western culture see them as the Satan of the animal world and think that there's nothing more to a snake than "They're slimy, venomous, and EVIL!" :-(

It also pisses me off that they're often portrayed as evil in fiction, because they want to show the kids that they're dangerous. True, but THEY AREN'T THE ONLY ANIMALS THAT CAN BE DANGEROUS, so cartoons will continue to portray them as evil because they want the kids to see them as the Satan of the animal kingdom :-(

I do love cobras. They are so awesome and have such a sense of power and majesty around them.

Yes, I do love these creatures. I wish people would understand that hunting to many of them could pose a serious threat to to the enviroment and we could possibly lose many remedies and antidotes that they can provide for sick people.
