... In The Cypress Tree ...

Eurasian Collared Dove (Streptopelia decaocto)


Taken from the kitchen window, this beautiful bird was resting on a branch of the cypress tree in my garden, supposed to be a Smooth Arizona Cypress 'Blue Ice' (Cupressus arizonica var. glabra).

These doves have been around my place for years and I simply love them, especially for their black collar and ruby red eyes. ♥

This absolutely gorgeous. It's not just a shot of a dove, you've captured its timid nature and softy beauty. It really has character. The colours are fantastic too.
