A simple rose photo with red rose blossom from my back garden. :rose:

In the revamp I switched from a square to a rectangular cropping. I like squares a lot but it really didn't make it for this one photo, I don't know what i was thinking when I first submitted it. Other than that I improved the brightness and contrast and saturated the natural red and green tones.

This photo is really beautiful. The colors and lighting really grab your attention. I gave you 5 stars for impact simply because of that. It almost seems that the rose is looking up at the sun (if it had eyes of course) and reaching out to it.

I gave you 3.5 stars for originality because flowers are a favorite of photographers to photograph. But the way you photographed it is amazing. The angle really catches all the most eye catching points of the rose, colors, lighting and shading.

I especially like how the only colors in this photo are red, green, and yellow. But there are so many different variations of those three colors.

Overall this photo is really beautiful and I'm glad you shared this with everyone, keep up the good work :)

This is a gorgeous photo! The vibrant colours and the way you captured the flower is beautiful! I especially like the sunshine shining on the flower, which gives this photo a natural warm look. In a way it looks like the flower is opening up FOR the sun, so great job! keep it up! =D
