A simple photo of a yellow Marigold (Tagetes) from my garden. This shot was taken in Macro mode + Manual settings for a pleasant bokeh effect in the background.
In the revamp I kept the rectangular cropping, but changed the composition to let more leaves and bokeh show. besides, I saturated the natural yellow and green tones and improved the brightness and contrast.

Flowers are beautiful. It takes a lot to take a nice photograph of a flower.
I really like the vivid color and lighting here. The highlights aren't blown out, but there is a really bright spot near the centre. (that could just be my screen. ) I like the level of saturation here. Good work!
I think the background is nice. It contrasts nicely. It's blurred for the most part, though a sharp leaf in the lower left is a bit distracting.
I think the composition is good, but perhaps a square crop could accentuate the piece more. Throwing the subject slightly off center increases the impact, just a bit. A small note about your signature, I might move it to the lower right, but that's a matter of preference.
