Anemone coronaria from my garden - they weren't exactly my most successful growing at the time, but enough for a decent photo c:
For the revamp of this shot I switched to a square cropping and considerably improved the postprocessing adjustments, such as saturation, brightness, contrast, and colour balance. I wanted to give the picture a vintage-ish touch and hope I succedeed.

For going for a "vintage-ish touch" this is pretty neat. Not my cup of tea with the color, but it works pretty well here. I also agree that the cropping makes the flower stand out well. Lastly it is a pretty flower so nice work on that too.
That's a beautiful flower and to think that it blooms in the same month as my birthday.
Gorgeous plant! I think we have these flowers in our garden as well but I\'m not sure, they died a few years ago and I don\'t know if mum planted new ones Still...I think you took an awesome pic there, it really shows the flower in all its beauty!
