... There Is Life ...
Common Hazel (Corylus avellana)
Some branches with young leaves and male catkins (male flowers) from the Hazel tree in my back garden.
Despite the humble subject, I love this photo intensely for the richt ones and soft lighting and hope you'll all like it too!
Photo taken with Manual settings - the shallow DOF and bokeh are 100% natural and lens-made, no textures applied.
October 2, 2013 • Update: I am deeply honoured to have found this photo in the Daily Deviation showcase this morning.
This is my second DD after "Artificial Rainbows" and it has been one of my most favourite captures for a while now, in fact it has been in the Featured section of my profile since the day I published it, so I really couldn't feel more proud that "There Is Life" has now been awarded a DD.
I would like to say a big, big THANK YOU to ~Qihah for suggesting it and to ^Anoya for believing that this artwork would be worth of a DD. Thank you very much! ~♥
